been there… done that!! I felt horrible for doing it at the time, but hey, every photograph is a memory!!!

Yikes! My husband Jon broke BOTH collar bones when he was 8 years old. He still remembers the pain. CLEARLY! Blaze is such a cute little guy and kids are so amazing how quickly they heal. He should be feeling better really soon! Good luck with keeping him in that sling. Good Job with bringing the camera along. My mom was rushed to the hospital for cardiac failure last month. I didn’t even think about my camera until we had been in the ICU a couple days. I had to run to Fred Meyer and buy a disposable one. I had to get a couple shots with my mom with her tiara and oxygen on. Hope to see you again soon! Take care and spoil Blaze rotten!

You poor things!!! Mothers and sons are bonded together like fathers and daughters….I’m convinced! Our oldest, Lucy, hit her lip and tooth on the nightstand a week and half ago, and I swear that I was the one who was more hurt than she was. I hate seeing them hurt – I can’t imagine a broken bone! You seem like you pulled it together pretty well for Blaze, Me Ra! That’s a mom’s strength. Hang in there (and tell Brian to give Pascaline a little extra attention – that way Blaze can roll his eyes, too)

Poor baby is right! Man! He’s got mom wrapped around his finger. For the most part he’s running around every where, almost more wild then normal b/c of how trapped he’s feeling in his sling, but then he knows just when to give mom those great big brown eyes and say “hurts mama, hurts”, and I basically hand over whatever he wants as Pascaline rolls her eyes.

Wait till you see the Halloween costume shots! I’ll share those later!

Poor baby! It’s always hard when our babies are in pain. What a clever little one to pull the switch-a-roo on which side hurt! I would totally take pictures at the hospital

I KNEW IT!!! PICTURES!!! Poor Blaze and of course poor MOMMY! He does look really cute though with that tough guy sling on…6 weeks, good luck, I think Greer’s sling way back when lasted JUST 30 minutes! haha It is very traumatic when you and your child go through stuff like that, it’s nice you had the meet and greet to decompress! He doesn’t look frightened..by the hospital or his camera toting Mom and the cookie looks delicious!

Poor Blaze! I would have never thought about kids telling the opposite side because of pain. I will definitely have that in my mind for future reference! I will keep your family in my prayers…I can’t imagine how it’s going to be like dealing with a young one and a sling!

AWWW he looks so pitiful! That is too much about the tricking the Dr.’s! What a smart guy! I can see the thought process.â€¦
“No WAY!… those big guys aren’t touching my hurt shoulder!! I’m pointing to the spot that doesn’t hurt!”
So, happy to hear that you were able to have a relaxing start to your workshop after all that!
I’ll be praying for speedy healing for your Blaze! 6 weeks in a sling…
