When you get that box - it's like Christmas, really!! We are in our fifth year schooling. I started my homebased photo business last year and that is still working into the equation. God gave me my family first, so my priority lies with them.My wonder moments come everyday - with a 2-yr old telling me "Mom, can you just be quiet" to my teenager getting his first road kill - a poor helpless turtle. Life is precious isn't it?!

Sonlight IS amazing – I have used it in full or parts over the last four years and love it. I love their curious little faces! You are amazing, I don't know how you do it all! My little one just started Kindergarten and I am EXHAUSTED! We did have a several teachable moments this summer but I think the most unexpected one was our HUGE pumpkin patch that took over our rose bushes this July. Yep, Pumpkins in July, we planted them last fall and boy did they grow. So, it was a fun learning experience for the kids. We are going camping this weekend and taking them fishing for the first time, it should be a lot of fun.

This is such a great picture! I wish I could, but I don't think I have the patience :(We had an incredible summer, my 3 children (ages 13, 11, and 5) and I. My husband is currently deployed in Iraq, so instead of sitting around the house moping, we went on a 3-week road trip! I could never have done thing with my husband since he hates long road trips, but it was perfect for us!! We drove from Ohio, to Florida, we spent some time at the beach, Disney World, then drove up the East coast, stopping several times along the way, we spent one week in CT before driving back to OH. It was an unbelievable trip, one that will forever be in my kids' memories, and one that changed me forever. I feel so blessed to be my children's mother.

That’s so awesome you homeschool! Guess I need to start workin' out again.

Hmmm…this is a tough one…only because I have a 2 and 3 year…both boys…that are full of questions and wonder…I would say the funniest wonder moment is when my boys were able to watch my friend get a big belly and then one day, there was a baby and no belly…they were intrigued and then preceded to ask me if there was a baby in my belly…hahaha! Every day we have new wonders, but I think the one I found hardest to explain recently were commercials. My son doesn't watch much TV but when he does it's either a DVD or Noggin. Neither of which have commercials. The other night we were laying in my bed together and watching Madagascar on television. Well when it finally broke for commercial my son was so confused and upset. He didn't understand why he couldn't watch his "moobie". I spent the next few minutes trying to explain to him that I didn't turn it off it was a commercial break and that it would be back on in a bit. LOL He was so relieved when it returned, right where it left off. I still don't think he gets the concept, but maybe it is better that way. He wont start asking for all the horrible stuff they advertise.

My son is a lil over 2.5 years old.
