Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are. As I am constantly either at work or on travel that mean she is left to run the household and take care of our two young boys. This means she have very little time to herself let alone to work on all the aspects of her budding photography business. It is hard enough to raise the boys these day but she is a true “Super Woman”, with managing all the kids school schedule, volunteering at the kindergarten class, our sons therapy appointments, doctors appointment, an still have time to feed them and stay up late almost every night working on ways to improve her business or editing and completing client picture packages. With an opportunity to truly enhance her passion and get dedicate time to focus on her this Running on Empty would mean the world to our family and especially Michelle! I have planned on attending this work shop since I heard of it last year and I even tried to sign up for it in January... but my computer was for some strange reason not allowing that to happen. It did not take long for me to realize that maybe I was not supposed to sign up for that commitment at that exact time. Back in January I was on top of my creative world with Photography. I had just gone to Mera's workshop the month prior, had my blog up and running, my new bus license, I was promoting myself like crazy and had a couple of weddings on the books. Only one month later though, I was putting my photog on the back burner as I was dealing with the separation of me and my husband and trying to learn how to make it as a single mom. I have focused my time into picking up as many shifts as possible at my "real job" and my poor camera has been neglected. Wow how I took simple things for granted, like the use of a computer at what ever hour I needed to edit and upload pictures or the internet to keep up with the blogging world. I miss my camera. I miss my "me time". I miss checking in on Brian and Mera ;) like the true blog stalker I was, and I miss the confidence that was pouring from my soul just 3 short months ago. I know that I am a few hours late on this deadline (I only just now just check in online,) but Mera I would be more than honored if you and Brian would still consider me for the "Running on Empty" contest.
