oh god, the last two are beautiful! like, cover of a magazine, make me want to get married, absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!

The last one does raise a question for me though – what makes that gray background??? When you shoot a bride and groom – what do you look for when walking around for places to shoot? What makes you say, “this is a good spot” or “this is good light” or “lets stop here to take some photos” ? I know how to look for and find soft light but how do you look for and find interesting more dimentional light?

Me Ra & Brian, these are stunning!!! I can’t stop looking at the last image. What a wonderful moment!
PS, I am going to Thailand in a week and a half for a missions trip with 7 women, 3 of us are photogs. One of the goals of our trip is to try to capture some of the injustices that are happening there to women and children involved in trafficking thru our lenses. We hope to use the images to help bring awareness to the issue and to inspire more people to get involved with the cause. Having just come from Thailand, do you have any tips on how to be culturally sensitive to the Thai people while taking photos?? Not only is this the first time that I will be traveling to Thailand (we will be in Bangkok and Pattaya), but I am also a beginning photog. I want to be sure to respect the Thai people, yet I want to adequately capture what is really taking place there. Any suggestions would be amazing! Thank you so much!!
