Workshop Results! Be Inspired By What These Ladies Captured!

Me Ra Koh

Here comes the post you’ve been waiting for! Enough about us, and what we were teaching!

Let’s see the beautiful RESULTS the Discovery Workshop ladies captured!

As you know from reading about our Portrait Day in Stinson Beach and the Photo Coaching Day, the ladies were asked to capture a myriad of different shots. I asked those that were comfortable to send me one or two of their favorites. Some are from the Stinson Beach Shoot, and the rest are when they worked on specific Photo Coaching techniques with a couple or family. Be inspired friends! These ladies went for it and did an AMAZING job! Most of them have websites or blogs, so when you have time make you sure you enjoy all the new connections of their work! Just the other day, a woman told me how one of her closest friends came from meeting her on this blog. Isn’t that cool. Don’t be shy, comment on each other’s blogs and let them know you are behind them too!

Susanne from San Diego sent me this beautiful shot of Matt and Laura. Two things strike me about this image. The sweetness of their connection and the tones of blue. Susanne, I love that you had them on the blue steps. It works so well with the blue tones Laura was wearing from her scarf to her jeans. All the toning contributes to how sweet this image is.

And look at what Susanne captured from the Stinson Beach Portrait Shoot. Don’t you love the catch light in her eyes, the buttery blurred background. It’s gorgeous!

Alex was teamed up with Susanne, and I love how a different eye, different photographer, is inspired to capture something TOTALLY different of the same beautiful woman. We have two different set ups but both images show us an inner strength that this woman possesses. What else do you feel like their images share? Don’t you love the dog! 🙂 (Alex, you were so brave to share your image, and I’m so glad you did! exhale)

This was Alex’s couple shot from our Photo Coaching Day. I love the raw emotion on her face! Look at how Alex framed the shot too. We have a beautiful blurred steeple in the background, a tree in the opposite corner, you get the sense that this couple is at a special place.

Same couple but different photographer. This image was taken by Annie. Don’t you love how both these images capture totally different parts of the couple’s relationship?! Beautiful job Annie!

It’s great seeing Janine’s version of the same moment from above. Little more blur, choice of making it a horizontal shot. Same moment but both photographers were drawn to focus on something slightly different.

This is from Janine’s Stinson Beach Portrait shoot. There is something so mysterious and strikingly beautiful in this image. Wonderful job Janine. From the brief conversations I had with this lovely woman, I think you did an amazing job of capturing the depth to her spirit.

Kathleen was partnered up with Janine, and it’s amazing how the story of this woman shifts with Kathleen’s image. If you remember, the women were asked to begin with an interview process that Rick had demonstrated. With their subject, they decided on what “story” their subject wanted to express. I wish we could share the stories alongside these images. But even without knowing the background, doesn’t Kathleen’s image invite you to the story of this woman’s life?

And then Kathleen nails it on this incredible image from our Photo Coaching day! Great job Kathleen on both!

Annie! This image almost got away from us! I’m so glad it didn’t. You did an incredible job of capturing the kindness inside this woman by the subtle connection she is making with her dog. And the lighting, oh my goodness Annie, the lighting on this image is DIVINE! Wonderful job!

Addie, this image below of Garrett’s son and wife is so enduring. You were both fast and sensitive to capture such an incredible moment. I can’t believe the look on his face. What mother wouldn’t want this expression captured? Amazing job Addie!

On our Photo Coaching day, we had a beautiful mother/daughter team model for us. And I love how Dana not only captured their physical beauty, but she also captured a beautiful moment. Both facial expressions share so much with us about how connected these two are.

Dana, this is an incredible shot from your subject at Stinson Beach. I love that you focused on the hands. If
you have a minute, can you tell our readers a little bit of the background story, and why you chose to focus on the hands? I think they would love to hear.

Sharon, there is so much depth to this single image. This one image makes me want to know this person, makes me want to ask them questions about themselves. Your focus is incredibly crisp, and I love how you blurred AND blasted out the background. It works so well as a BW. Beautiful job.

And being the talented portrait photographer that you already are, of course you would capture something this magical. Again, AMAZING Sharon. What mother wouldn’t love to have this?

Caryle was one of our Running on Empty Winners. What an amazing gift to have her with us. She has an incredible eye. Look at this beautiful image that she captured of the same mom from above. Mom is so soft in how she holds herself and her little one. And the blurred, soft green background helps us feel it even more.

Caryle, this is a powerful image. Just powerful. This was what Carlye shot from our Stinson Beach shoot. And Carlye, if you don’t mind I’d love to ask you the same question I asked Dana. Can you share with us a little background on why you chose to focus on the tools and hands? Readers would love to know!

Okay, Garrett, did you freak out when you saw this image? Oh my goodness! I LOVE this image of Garrett and his son. The talented photographer behind the camera on this was Carrie, another one of our Running on Empty Winners. Carrie, what a gift you gave to Garrett’s family. Their smiles, I feel like they are so relaxed and not performing for you but allowing you in. What a difference that makes when capturing a family. Kudos to you. They obviously felt safe with you as the photographer.

And if the image above didn’t blow you away, this one from Stinson Beach will! Look at this AMAZING shot that Carrie captured of her subject. I look at this image, the energy from the woman, her silver hair, the barn like opening, and I want to hear ALL her stories.

Here it comes again. That powerful perspective shift. One photographer sees one thing. Another photographer sees something else, and they BOTH take your breath away. They both tell a story of depth. Elizabeth captured this image below. And I cannot express how powerful this image feels. There is something about this woman, she’s relaxed in the image, not stressed, not performing for Elizabeth…she’s at peace with herself, and it rings loud and clear through the image. And then I love the white top, the silver hair and the white ropes underneath her arms. ALL of it works so well!

Elizabeth not only captured powerful images at Stinson, but she also knocked it out of the park on the Photo Coaching day. Look at BOTH their expressions. What a moment. What life and pure joy. Elizabeth, you are so talented (in so many freaking ways!).

And then I came to this image, and I started to cry. Jeannie captured this image of Garrett’s family, and guess who makes me want to cry. If you guessed Garrett’s wife, you were right. She looks so filled up and in love with her three men that it brings tears to my eyes. Jeannie was able to capture a single moment, a fleeting moment, that lives and resides in the depths of all mothers. Everyone is surrounded by love, but Garrett’s wife, she is feeling it and at the same time so much of the source from where all the love comes from. Amazing Jeannie, truly, utterly, amazing.

Lauren was one of the subjects that our ladies worked with at Stinson Beach. This man is amazing. He doesn’t let age slow him down whether that means triathlons or bouldering rocks. I love how wide Jeannie went on this shot of him. It shows me that he is a man who overcomes. He does not waste time being afraid of mountains, no matter how high.

Christene and Jeannie were partners at Stinson Beach. Christene took her time with Lauren and captured a completely different image, ye
t one that shares a similar story of strength, joy and defiance. If Lauren was your dad, wouldn’t you LOVE to have this image of him?

And Christene, oh my goodness Christene. Did you Photo Coach this and set it up? It’s almost to good to be true. I see it on the cover of a Pottery Barn Kids catalog for Easter! You did so good on this image of the kids. So incredibly great!

Have you seen a much better photo of “boys” than this image? Tracy, I have to ask you the same thing! Did you Photo Coach this shot and set it up? I LOVE that one is looking out the window doing his own thing, and wild boy is leaping toward you! It’s the best!

The legend of Stinson Beach says that this guy has been surfing Stinson’s waves for thirty years! It was a cold and rainy day when we did our Stinson photo shoot, but I love that Tracy encouraged this guy to get out his surfboard. To capture who this man is and what he has been about, it seems like a surf board is very appropriate! Great composition Tracy!

And then we have the talented Tracie with an “ie” ending. 🙂 Look at this incredible image she captured. I LOVE the rich and vibrant green grass all around them, the total joy on her face, and his hand…his hand is so tender yet strong and in total adoration of her. Tracie, in one image, you captured so much. Beautiful!

And here she does it again! This is Tracie’s subject from Stinson Beach. A man with a hundred stories to share and energy that is contagious. Tracie, would you mind sharing a little back story on who your subject was? This image is so striking. Did he want to be alive and happy in the image, or did you just capture it when you saw it come out? I also love your composition on this and how you broke it into thirds.

Cathy, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this image of Matt and Laura. I love how he is whispering in her ear, and what is bubbling out of her. I love the angle from which you shot it. It’s incredibly flattering of Laura and her gorgeous smile. This is an image I would love to have of me and Brian. Well done Cathy! Laura must love you for this!

And I know you gained points with this family! Cathy, what an incredible moment. These are not easy shots to grab! If you haven’t tried this shot, set it up with your husband or friend and give it a shot. To capture the feet in the air, wide smile, hair flying and the height of the toss…yeah, Cathy rocked this! Great job!

Same little boy from above, but Katie’s captured another side of his personality. Look at those eyes. So precious. Whenever I’m doing a shoot with a family, I try to capture as many sides of the kids as I can. A smile or moment of laughter is only a part of who the kids are. And when my clients look at my shots, I want them to say “Oh my goodness, that is totally my little boy when he’s being sneaky or thoughtful or mischievous!” Katie, you gave that gift to the family with this image.

The image below is from Katie’s Stinson Beach shoot. I looked at this when Katie first emailed it to me, and I thought ‘What is this woman’s story! I want to know?’ There are so many clues in this single image from how she styled her hair, to her choice of earrings to the vibrant, rich blue cloth. Katie, is it okay to have you share a little with us? This image is so intriguing!

Jenny was AMAZING at the Discovery Workshop. She just had a baby boy, and coming from Seattle to San Francisco was one of her first real outings with her little one. And then to put nursing, sleeping schedules, and hormones on top of all that. Yet, she did it. And she seemed to being soaking it all in taking a window of time out for herself. What I’m trying to say is that she was my hero that weekend. It’s so hard to do something for yourself in the first six months that your baby is born. And I applaud her for doing that. On top of all that, she captured this quiet moment of Genie. This my friends is Genie! My GENIE! “My little Genie” who makes so much of Me Ra Koh Photography, Inc. happen. This image captures how kind Genie is, how sensitive she is to details whether it’s the fragrant rose or one of our brides.

But she’s not just sweet! 🙂 She is daring, powerful and strong! Chelsie, our high school Senior who skipped her prom for the workshop, captured this FANTASTIC shot of Genie. This is SO Genie too! And Chelsie, you did such a great job with composition and lighting. I love how the light is illuminating Genie’s arms. Chelsea,
you have to tell us how it felt to take this picture. Have you ever taken a nude shot before? Was this Genie’s idea or your idea? Was it a little nerve wrecking? What were the challenges you ran into b/c of the simple fact that it was a nude shot? Share, share, share!

And then this images makes you exhale. Wendy captured this soft, beautiful image. Even though “soft” comes to mind, there is this powerful strength in their relationship that I see demonstrated. Don’t you think? The image has incredible depth to it. Wonderful job Wendy.

Rick snuck himself in and got a portrait shot done. And Wendy is the photographer on this too. Wendy, I’m really proud of you b/c sometimes it can be tougher to photograph a photographer! But you did an amazing job all the same. What’s interesting is that I see a bit of your personality in both of these images Wendy. You have such a quiet, rich spirit about you, and I don’t think it’s a mistake that you captured this in all three people.

That my friends is just a taster of the AMAZING images the workshop attendees captured. Aren’t these women incredible!!

They took their cameras and didn’t hold back one bit!

Even when we invited them to JUMP! 🙂

To all the Discovery Ladies, it was a honor to have you all invest time, money and most of all, yourself in our weekend together. The four of us came away transformed and inspired by all of you. Thank you for not holding back, for jumping, for trusting, and for setting aside time to Discover the Artist Within Yourself and the World Around You. May our time together, “a-ha” moments, laughter and confidence building multiply and multiply as you continue to run after your dreams.

Don’t ever stop running after those dreams. These images are proof enough that the world NEEDS you to express your art and what you see.

All our love,

Me Ra, Brian, Rick and Garrett

OMGoodness!! I am totally blown away and so inspired!!! You women are absolutely amazing!! 🙂

MeRa, I so love the way you describe the photos… you perfectly captured my every reaction. That photo that makes you exhale, the ones that make you want to know more of the subject, the ones that show such strength and peace and especially the one of the mom with her eyes closed that brought some serious tears to my eyes.

I am praying to be able to attend one of your Discovery Workshops in the future!! What amazing gifts you, Brian, Rick and Garrett have given these ladies and that they have given to you in return!! AWESOME!!!

  12. steph says:

    Hi Mera
Tana and I need to talk to you! We both NEED you to have another Discovery work shop. I realize that there must be so much work and time that goes into putting these workshops together, but it sounds like your hard work and effort paid off! Tana and I really wanted to be there last month, but our lives kept throwing us curve balls after curve balls! I also need another reason to reconnect with my friend-in-photography from New Mexico!! 😉
“smmmmmoooooooochh!!” (this is me sucking up!!)

    Love Steph

  13. Michelle says:

Wow..all these images are just beautiful. there were some talented ladies there. That first image if Laura & Matt really blows me away..what an amazing moment captured.

  14. WOW…

    speechless….

I am sitting here, trembling a bit, with tears in my eyes. I am SO proud of the leaps we all took during our weekend together and I have spent many hours in the galleries savoring every woman’s work.

I sincerely hope to reconnect with each of you again. (Same time, Same place next year?? 😉 )

My images are of the Mother and Daughter and of the Gentleman’s hands on the table.

The Mother and the Daughter session was amazing for me. I loved capturing the deep bond between these two.

My Stinson Session was with Tim. He is an artist, a fireman, and a storyteller. His hands are so much of who he is and what he has experienced that to me, they were as captivating as his face. He laid them on the table in front of him in this position without encouragement and the simple gesture just spoke volumes to me.

I entered the Stinson session having an idea of what I wanted to capture with Tim. The funny thing is, the session was completely different from what I expected it to be. I really struggled with that in the beginning, but I am so grateful for the lessons I learned from that and what I discovered about myself that day. Thank you for allowing me to photograph you, Tim!

(A HUGE thank you to Sharon as well for being nervous with me but being such a calming force and great friend through the session – I miss you, doll!)

Thank you for your kind words, Me Ra, they mean the world to me!

  15. abbey says:

Wow!! and I mean WOW!!! You ladies are AMAZING!!!!
Genie and Chelsie! — holy moly!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!
Sharon I LOVE your black and white shots… so powerful!
I could go on and on and on!!!
What powerful amazing shots… they speak volumes!!
Anyone in the georgia area?? seriously? I want some family pictures!!!! 🙂

  16. Freida Hall says:

I am not really even ready to fully comment yet… I mean, WOW… I must look back through all of the photos again (and perhaps again after that!)… my goodness… so INSPIRING! Every single photo! I need to wait until the baby goes down for a nap so I can click on all of the individual websites of each of these talented people…
What a special post this is!

  17. Melinda says:

I am LOVING these shots! What great images everyone captured. I’m so inspired. And so very much looking forward to the Workshop in Seattle this weekend!

  18. Carlye says:

Oh Me Ra! I didn’t think it was possible to still be feeling such a high after being home for a month! These images are so amazing ladies… I feel honoured to have been in the company of such AWESOME spirits, women, & photographers.

I think I’ve been looking at these for hours… I’m thinking I should just make your post my desktop background! 🙂

In terms of the Stinson Beach shoot, there were a few reasons I chose the shot of Howard’s hand and tools. He is a sculptor, ex-professor, and published author on human relationships. It felt like his hands were so much a part of who he is; they’ve been used to create nearly everything in his life and their experience is written all over them. I could feel when he picked up his tools that he was channeling strength, patience, love and care. He allows himself to be taken somewhere new with each of his sculptures and these tools are the key. I hope some of this came across in the image!

Thank you again Me Ra, Brian, Rick and Garrett. My life has truly been enriched having spent some time around your magic. And my fellow workshop ladies… speechless. What an abundance of talent! I’m so looking forward to moving with each of you on our new journeys. Anyone up for a reunion already? 🙂

  19. Julie says:

WOW – breathtaking, all of them! They are just fantastic!

  20. WOW! has been typed over and over by many of us, but there truly isn’t a better word for the results from our awesome experience.
I feel truly humbled that I was in the presence of all these fabulous people with so much talent.
A few words about my two photos:
Lil boy looking straight into the camera. We were the first group to begin photographing this family and he was super shy. He really wanted nothing to do with us at all and was hiding for most of the beginning shots. I took him away and tried to get him to relax and have a little bit of fun with it. After this shot he really opened up.
Woman with Blue/hot pink wrap. When I first found out about the project I was SUPER nervous. But when we first met our subject she was a little frazzled herself. She had not showered yet, had been up late helping with her kids talent show, and was exhausted. She is a sculptor, a hairdresser, she is a make-up artist, she is a mother; the list goes on and on. I felt like her life seemed super busy and I wanted to capture something that was more quiet but showed her beauty.
The curtains she is wrapped in are from a trip she had recently returned from in India. They hang in her studio. I thought they were beautiful and would highlight everything that was magical about her and yet the blue was calming to me.

Thank you so much to every woman I met that weekend. I miss all of you and our leaders as well. I cannot wait until we all meet again. You are all inspiring.

  21. Jo LeFlufy says:

WOWZAS! That about sums it up!

  22. annie says:

How freakin’ cool is this? I’m all bouncy from seeing my photos on YOUR blog! Thank you, thank you!!!! I’m in some really amazing company, what a group of talent we had! My business partner, michelle and I are going to start holding photography workshops for moms this summer. I was really inspired by this workshop to not only keep learning and attending more workshops, but to start sharing what I know with others. Seriously, my life has been changed!

  23. Kathleen says:

Oh I miss everyone so much!! You are all so amazing – what stunning pictures!

    Couple comments on my photos:
Nancy (the woman in my first picture) shared so much with us. She took Janine and I to a place that was very special to her – a place that held memories of her late husband, who had filmed a documentary about the very lagoon that she is looking upon. I chose this one because of the conversational quality that seems to exist between her and the hillside across the lagoon. It certainly does have a story – Me Ra, I’m so impressed!

And the little boy was so much fun! He was a ball of energy that didn’t want to be contained in a pose. So I told his sister to chase him. I love the “catch me if you can!” look on his face.

  24. Chelsie says:

Everyone did SUCH an amazing job! I agree with Sharon- haha we are pretty good! =) GREAT job ladies!
    A bit about my picture:
Genie is an absolutly AMAZING woman! She is so sweet and gentle but such a strong woman! She advocates age as an adventure rather than most people, who see it as a time to retire.
Genie is so adventerous that i knew from the begining that this shoot may have ended like this but i never imagined it would turn out so well! Not for one second was i uncomfortable! Isn’t that crazy? I do have to mention though that i was very inspired by Rick’s portraits- and if you haven’t seen his pictures by now you HAVE to go to his website RIGHT NOW and check them out! I’ve never done a nude shoot before, but our job was to capture our person and thats what me and jenny were doing, and i was completley okay with it the whole time!
Thank you Jenny for jumping with me and thank you genie for giving me this outrageous, wonderful oppurtunity!
I love all you ladies and miss you all so so much! (And of course the instructors too!)

  25. Laura says:

Absolutely amazing and stunning. I feel so blessed to have been a part of the discovery. Not only did I have the opportunity to work with a few of you ladies one on one, but I had the incredible chance to be photographed by some of you.

The photo’s of Matt and I are priceless and I can’t wait to print some and hang them on our walls. Our love was captured, the fun and sassy love, the deep and connected love, the passionate and intense love.

I can’t thank you all enough for what you’ve brought to my life. Everyone involved.

  26. ok, I am getting no work done today at all. I can not stop read this over and over and all the comments as well. LOL 🙂

  27. Amanda says:

Thank you! MeRa your words gave me chills as I looked at these pictures…you have such a beautiful way of with words, and these pictures are simply wonderful. I am in awe. Thank you for sharing. Amazing job ladies you should be so proud.

  28. denise karis says:

wow! oh wow – I love all of them – everyone did so well! That first one stuck with me through the whole post though – I do love the blue tones! All of them are beautiful!

  29. Tacey says:

Ok, now you’ve got ME crying too…The one of Garrett’s family and his wife…This (with tears streaming down my face) is why I’m moving in the Bold direction that I am….That, of which, is PHOTOGRAPHY….What could be more powerful, beautiful, blessed, more soul-satisfying, than that? Can’t wait to meet you this weekend MeRa….

  30. shawna says:

amazing job, ladies. i’m going right up to the top to look at everything again! i’m just blown away.

  31. Stephanie says:

I new these photos were amazing even on my itty bitty cell phone screen. But I had to come back for a second look.

I knew there was a great story behind the photos of the hands. By the simple photos you knew what they did with their hands was a big part of who they are. It is so wonderful to hear from Dana and Caryle the stories behind the photos.

I love the nude photo as well. I admire Genie and Chelsie for just going for it.

I was really surprised at the photos of the old woman during my second glance. My little cell phone screen did not do them justice. There is almost a contrast between the two images. One is dark, the other is light. One photo she looks youthful, the other you can see life’s experience on her face. They are both beautiful.

Even now I keep scrolling up and down. I was so tempted to print them all out just to have a look at all of them at once. But that might be overwhelming.

Thank you ladies for the inspiration! Beautiful Work!

  32. Jeannie says:

Me Ra, thanks for such a moving and giving write-up of our workshop results. Workshop ladies, you all rock! I’m so honored to be displayed among all of you.

  33. Ajira says:

The oft repeated ‘wow’ is certainly well deserved by this collection of photographs. It is so inspiring to see all these moments captured so seemingly effortlessly and spontaneously. Well done to every one of the photographers- for creating such ease in your subjects that they could let you shoot them so intimately, for the knowledge and instinct that told you when and how, and for the courage to share yourselves with your subjects and with your audience. I am grateful, and I am awed.

Like Shawna and Stephanie, I am also scrolling back up and down this post to review the photos again and again.

Susanne’s couple shot struck me immediately. The image is crisp and simultaneously soft and so intimate I almost want to leave them to it and not ‘intrude’ by looking.

I love the dreamlike quality of Alex’s couple shot.

I could go on like this and have comments, thoughts, feedback about every photograph but I think my nine week old may wake up any minute so I want to wrap it up.

My favourite is definitely Chelsie’s nude of Genie. It’s a beautiful, beautiful image. I love how Genie is clearly a part of the nature around her… another gorgeous embodiment of creation and life. I love the way Genie’s arms are held in this symbolic gesture of strength, independence and reliability. It’s wonderful, and all woman!

I can’t wait for the chance to attend one of these workshops, and I am looking forward to checking out everyone’s sites… one more thing- I wish I could be one of the models. Being a photographer myself means that I’m usually behind and rarely before the lens. I would love to be captured in one of the ways you captured these lucky models, especially with my son and husband. 🙂

  34. Addie says:

I don’t think I can look at these enough! Everyone’s talent just shines, shines, shines! It’s so true that the pieces of ourselves not only stand alone, but also blend into one big beautiful image! And thanks again to Me Ra, Brian, Garrett and Rick for giving us that space to shine. What an honor it has been to share the love with all of you! And, oh my goodness, when’s the reunion ’cause I miss you all so very much!! 😉

  35. Katlyn Barcroft says:

OMG!!!!! All of these pictures are so amazingly done! My absolute favorite (although so incredibly difficult to choose just one)has got to be the shot by Annie of the woman and her dog!!! I would L-O-V-E – LOVE to have a shot of myself with my Boxer like this one! What dog lover wouldn’t fall in love with this shot! HOW DEAR AND HEARTWARMING CAN IT GET!!!!! Any tips on working with/photographing man’s best friend?

  36. Genie says:

Thank you so much for the feedback everyone – I told Chelsie to choose freely what she wanted to send to Me Ra for posting b/c I did not want to block her inspiration or ability to receive the kudos she deserves – particularly for being a 17 year old taking those shots. Thank YOU for validating that! Both she AND Jenny (chime in here girl!) climbed into the cold water of the creek & down muddy trails to capture views of me that I’ve envisioned and beyond (although my ‘no hair dye’ experiment is now OVER!). It was a BLAST of a day! I think every one of you who feels comfortable saying it should find a way to say you capture ‘inspiring body images’ or something like that.

    LOve to you ALL!

  37. Rhonda says:

Thank you all soooo much for sharing your experiences with us. I feel blessed by you all. I can’t wait to be able to be a participant at a Discovery workshop.

i’ve been sitting here with the post up the last couple of days … just in awe of it all.

the experience, the talent, the inspiration … all of it amazing.

me ra, you are so kind, gentle, loving to us all … you inspire me {and many others, i’m sure} to be, not only a better photographer, but a better person. thank you for that gift.

i had the photograph of jason & andrea … what an outrageously fun couple they are!

the other, at stinson beach, is frank. frank owns the local health club. it’s an indoor/outdoor health club. an incredible place really. as we had just learned from rick, it’s so important to connect with your client. so teri and i took some time aside to talk to frank and get to know him a bit. as we were doing this, i could see a little bit better of ‘who’ frank is. he’s a {i’m smiling as i’m thinking of this} vibrant man, full of life. he’s lived! he’s got a hidden cleverness, wit, and sass, all rolled into one.

when he talked, his face lit up. he had a great smile and energy … and that’s what i tried to capture.

many, many thank yous … and i’m definitely down with a reunion! 😉

  43. Ah, makes me think of the famous saying “Writing is an adventure. To begin with, it is a toy and an amusement. Then it becomes a mistress, then it becomes a master, then it becomes a tyrant. The last phase is that just as you are about to be reconciled to your servitude, you kill the monster and fling him to the public.” – Winston Churchill

I have discovered that good real estate agents just about everywhere are getting set to FSBO Promoting. They are acknowledging that it’s not only placing a poster in the front place. It’s really concerning building human relationships with these traders who someday will become buyers. So, if you give your time and effort to encouraging these retailers go it alone — the “Law connected with Reciprocity” kicks in. Interesting blog post.

  50. I understand that there are a lot of spam lately. Apparently it’s pretty hard for people to grasp the concept that relationships can be mutually rewarding. I can leave a meaningful awesome comment and add content and substance to one of your pages and you will give me a link in exchange. There are too many takers out there and they aren’t willing to help people out. Take take take! .
