I am not sure....because my kids are little and I am just hoping that what I think is "glue" actually DOES keep us together! But every night we read scriptures and have prayer together as a family before bed. I figure if anyone is going to help keep our family together in todays world it's Him. So, we always eat dinner together. Even when a kid comes home late from practice or such, we try to gather and sit with that person. At dinner we do "highs and lows" for each person (even the 4 year old) and the person has the floor for as long as he/she needs to explain the good and bad aspects of his/her day. Then after dinner we all help with the clean up and we blast the music, dance and sing while washing dishes, emptying garbage, etc etc. We have been able to expose the kids to some of "our" music (although they still do not get just how darn cool U2 is....) and they have taught us all about Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana, and the house looks good for a solid hour each and every day.....
