This post gives “out of the box” a whole new meaning! Not your average vacation! Wow! First off, so glad that you and the kids are safe and sound. And how proud a Mama are you that Blaze remained calm enough to evaluate what he was hearing and sensing, or rather not hearing and sensing? So cool. Are the kids keeping journals this time? They’ll be able to write their own book of adventures. But glad you were finally able to relax and let down.

Oh MeRa, my heart stopped for you when I read this story. I totally understand your adrenaline rush, the let down, the relief and the laugh so you don’t cry that you must have felt. My 8yr old and I were taken down by a wave as the tide changed last summer when she saw the wave come and froze, while I was yelling run and trying ot turn her around. Heart stopping…I tell ya. You definitely realize how alive you are. I am so glad you are all okay. Kiss those babies and love on them every second that you can.
