I grew up with my two younger brothers who played football, and my grandpa hollering from the sidelines. But I never caught the football fever the way they did. However, I’m a sucker for fun football photos! I’m not talking about sideline shots of the game, but the black and white portrait of a shirtless boy with helmet on and football in hand. Or the eighteen month old who is saying “Hut! Hut! Hut!” as he and his dad face each other down. Or the black lab who “wears” her team spirit for the Seahawks! Whether you are a die hard football fan or football hater, these photos will make you smile wide!

Congratulations to Running on Empty winner, Patricia, nominated by her husband. We are so EXCITED to have you join us this weekend! I also had the opportunity to read through all the nominations, and I was incredibly moved by how several family members (even kids!) nominated their moms, wives, friends. It must be so wonderful to hear your loved ones praise you, even though your path has been challenging. We have a special panel of former ROE winners who pick the new winners, but I wanted to personally thank every woman who was nominated and shared her incredible, powerful story. Whether you fight daily for your little ones health, continue on despite your grief and losses, or face storms few understand, your family looks at you and sees love. What a honor to have heard your stories. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
