I’m so excited to share the photo story of our family winter trip to New York!ย And I know the grandparents and great-grandparents are even MORE excited to see it!ย LOL!
Each holiday season, we try to find a way to give our talent/time to a wonderful cause.ย Last November, we hosted Family Portraits of Love, a day of free family portraits for single moms or low-income families with the support of our Confidence Teachers and several local photographers in the Tacoma/Seattle area.
This year, we were asked to consider a pro bono film project for a special school in New York City.ย Picture working with FORTY kindergarteners to second graders!ย Some of my favorite ages right there!ย Brian was Director on the project, and I was assisting him for a change–taking orders from him right and left and left and right.ย (Was good for me. :))ย But instead of zipping into NYC to turn around and head right back home, we brought the kids and got WONDERFUL time with family.ย The Big Apple was lit up with Christmas lights, so much fun playing with cousins, snow-covered Central Park just long enough to get a good snowball fight,
and Wicked on Broadway blew us away!
